Want to start with vlogging, but don't you really have an idea what's important? Or are you busy with vlogging, but do you want to learn more about how to make a vlog more successful?
Immediately evident: I do not have a Vlog, and it is not my intention to do so. Maybe I just prefer to write, perhaps it's just not quite my thing. The fact remains, however, that the blogosphere is becoming more and more successful – and less successful – Vloggers. The medium "Videolog " has potential and can be of high added value for bloggers, provided you do it in a way that followers also appeal.
Vlogging Tips and Tricks
The first tip that has come through my 1-Mans Voting committee may be an open door, but therefore no less relevant:
TIP 1: Create consistent, substantial content
There should be a reason for your followers to look at vlogs. How does your video content differ from others? What makes it unique? Why would anyone keep following you?
TIP 2: Providing interaction and engagement
A vlog is of course of a very personal nature. This has the advantage that people who can "relate" to you are more inclined to keep track of them when you actively involve them and engage with them through social media interactions.
Tip 3: View the background Details
Your followers will not only see you on the screen. They see a total picture. What is shown in this image, along with your vision, your movements and voice, is what the viewer gets. Mess in the background can associate a viewer consciously or unconsciously with disorganization. A burning candle in the history can provide more rest. Small details can make a big difference.
Tip 4: Make a good quality video with best camera
This can be put into the camera you are using, the exposure, but also the assembly you perform afterward. Make sure you have high resolution and a good mic. Fortunately, the excellent material doesn't have to cost a rib of your body nowadays.
Tip 5: Make sure you are recognizable
You want people to recognize you as a vlogger. Therefore, it is advisable to add a piece of "branding " to your video. This can be for example by adding a short intro screen, by wearing recognizable clothing, but also by consistently having a certain "gimmick " in your video.
