“They arrived looking ready to party,” an onlooker tells theBuzz. “They took a table in the VIP area and there was a queue of girls lining up to chat to them.”

Walliams, 37, went home empty-handed but Brand, 33, managed to leave with not just one but two girls, taking them back to his Hampstead home for a nightcap...

Getting fizzy with Busta Rhymes

BustagreenAN Arab millionaire proved he had a better sense of humour than Busta Rhymes on Friday night.

The rapper performed his latest ditty Arab Money at the Orange Rock Corps after-show party at Paper in Regent Street, with lyrics making light of mega bucks earned in the Middle East through the sale of oil.

And one tycoon was tickled, ordering £8,000 worth of pricey Ace of Spade bubbly to be sent to Busta to show his “appreciation” of the tune.

The star turned up at 2am – seemingly none the worse for being held by UK immigration for almost 12 hours.

First pics of new London superclub

MatterTHIS is the first glimpse inside a London superclub.

The 2,600-capacity venue, called matter, is one of the first purpose-built music venues to be erected in London since the Royal Albert Hall in 1871.

Scheduled to open to the public on Friday with a launch party that features  UNKLE and Late Of The Pier, it has been built under the dome of The O2 Arena and will be run by the team behind club Fabric.

It boasts an auditorium large enough to hold 2,000 people, three floors, a “moving” dancefloor operated by pistons, a VIP area and, for the truly important, a VVIP area.

According to the project’s managing director, Cameron Leslie, no other music venue has been purpose-built for more than 120 years.

Later on, a couple of male guests joined them and they stayed on at the party till late.

One onlooker said: "She was having a good time, but was still quite reserved and didn't even make her way to the dance floor. She was quite relaxed and was clearly enjoying herself."

Review: Mystery Jets

Mysteryjets_cut Mystery Jets

Barfly, Camden

***

The festival season is an important time for bands, so having to cancel a string of dates this summer has been a minor disaster for Mystery Jets.

They're close to greatness and a successful summer should have hurled them into the mainstream.

But when your singer (Blaine Harrison has spina bifida) is hospital-bound with pressure sores on his feet, muddy fields and outdoor stages take a back seat.

So it’s back to Barfly basics as Blaine makes his return to the stage and gives the London audience a taste of what festival goers have sadly missed.

These include Mystery Jets' mastery of boyish, angst-free guitar pop, brilliant live performances of new single ‘I’m In Love With Elizabeth’ and recent top 40 hit ‘Two Doors Down’ - not to mention Blaine’s fantastically floppy hair.

The band themselves aren’t the most charismatic, but fortunately their tunes more than make up for any lack of stage presence.

And while Camden Barfly can’t hope to recreate a festival atmosphere on a muggy Thursday night, filling the venue to an uncomfortable capacity leaves a certain festival odour in the air if nothing else.

Adele's messy night out

Adele Is there a new party girl in town?

Chasing Pavements star Adele Adkins put the likes of actress Jaime Winstone and Girls Aloud singer Sarah Harding to shame last night as she proved she was anything but the shy, retiring type with a five-hour bender.

Starting her evening by attending The Wackness screening at the Curzon Soho, the night ended with the songstress throwing up in the toilets at swanky members club Bungalow 8.

Earlier on – when the 20-year-old was still sober – Adele chatted with theBuzz about her new album.

She told us: “I think people will be surprised by what I bring out next – it’s real bluegrass music. It’s not radio music. People won’t be able to sing along to it, like my other songs. I’ve written about three tracks and am about to head to the States to work on more.”

Despite her pleasant demeanour at the cinema, Adele, whose album 19 is up for a Mercury Prize next month, was less than happy to encounter a group of photographers waiting outside.

An onlooker said: “She shouted: ‘Why don’t you f*** off?’ and even ran straight into a busy road to get away from them.
