Brand thanks Slut between the covers

RUSSELL BRAND has thanked Georgina Baillie for increasing sales of his autobiography My Booky Wook.

Turning up for a signing at a New York bookstore, the comic gave no sign of ­remorse over last year’s notorious “Sachsgate” affair, making jokes about the incident that lost him his ­radio show.

Brand quit his Radio 2 show and Jonathan Ross was suspended for making an on-air prank call to the ­elderly Fawlty ­Towers actor ­Andrew Sachs (inset).

During the phone ­message, Brand spoke about having sex with Sachs’s granddaughter Baillie, a member of the burlesque dance group Satanic Sluts Extreme.

Speaking to a crowd gathered at Barnes and Noble in Union Square, Brand, 33, asked: “Have you ever heard of Andrew Sachs?

“Well, his daughter is a ­Satanic Slut. I had sex with the Satanic Slut and after I found out it was like a post-coital bonus. I’d like to thank her for facilitating you lovely people coming here and buying my book and anyone else that wants to join that club please sign up.”

A self-confessed sex addict, Brand went on: “There is an ­after party in my underpants and everyone is invited, ­people of all genders and persuasions.”

James Corden's Brook-side

A NAUGHTY James Corden gave a taste of what to expect at the Brits, as he presented the Whatsonstage.com Theatregoers’ Choice Awards last night.

Corden (pictured right with Sheridan Smith) compared Lee Mead to a puppet, smacked the bottom of a male stagehand and had a snipe at model-turned-actress Kelly Brook.

On her performance in Fat Pig, Corden, 30, quipped: “It moved me to tears. No, really, it did.”

And when Kinks legend Ray Davies, 64, headed off stage in the wrong direction, Corden said: “And that’s why you don’t do drugs, kids.”

Soul legend Etta James attacks Beyonce

SOUL legend Etta James has lashed out at Beyonce saying she can't stand the singer and that she is furious she sung one of her songs at President Obama's Inauguration Ball.

The 27-year-old chart topper sang At Last, a smash hit James had in 1961, in Washington DC last month, and clearly her rendition did not go down well with the 71-year-old singer.

James came out with the tirade during a live show in Seattle where she told the crowd: "I tell you that woman he had singing for him, singing my song, she gonna get her ass whipped. The great Beyonce.Now like I said, she ain't mine. I can't stand Beyonce!

"She had no business up there singing. Singing on a big ole, big ole president day and going be singing my song that I've been singing forever."

The diva also had no love for President Obama himself, telling the audience: "You guys know your president right? You know, the one with the big ears. Yeah, wait a minute, he ain't my president, he might be yours."

Beyonce, who has described James as 'her mentor' in the past, is due to play the aging legend in a forthcoming film called Cadillac Records.

Both women attended the American premiere of the film in December with no apparent sign of animosity.

Luke-ing for Mischa Barton

IT SEEMS singer Luke Pritchard has mislaid new girlfriend Mischa Barton...

Despite spending the day with his latest squeeze (above), The Kooks frontman admitted last night: “I don’t even know where she is!”

Chatting to theBuzz at the Elle Style Awards launch, held at H&M on Oxford Street, the curly-haired star was coy about his blossoming relationship with Mischa, 23.

The pair were spotted kissing at a comedy club in Kilburn on Monday. But Luke, 23, was prepared to reveal his plans for a romantic Valentine’s Day with the actress. “We’ll be going to another comedy club,” he said.
