IT'S only been a week since Alexandra Burke hit the headlines with her X Factor victory, but the Hallelujah singer is already planning to purchase the ultimate celebrity must-have accessory - a designer dog.
Alex, 20, says the only thing she wants for Christmas is a pooch for the pad she’s planning to move into with her new best pal, X Factor loser Ruth Lorenzo.
“I’m going to buy a dog for myself,” she said. “I either want a Bijon or a Chihuahua. Ruth is getting a cat as well, so we’re planning to get a cat and a dog. I don’t know about any names yet. I need to start thinking of some."
Remember, Alex, a dog is for life, not just for Christmas – so don’t go calling it Dannii or Diana…
