Sugababes to light up London

THE Sugababes will switch on Oxford Street’s Christmas lights to kick-off the festive shopping season.

Huge crowds are expected to head into central London for the UK’s biggest lighting up ceremony outside House of Fraser on 12 November.

The all-girl Sugababes - who have six number one singles - will be joined by Heart 106.2 presenters including Jamie Theakston for the 49th switch-on.

Jace Tyrrell of New West End Company, which represents Central London traders, said: “Every year the Oxford Street Christmas Lights attract 40 million shoppers to come and experience the magic of Christmas in the West End.”
