Simon Cowell sits on three cushions to look big

CowellandpiersVERTICALLY-challenged music mogul Simon Cowell has a telly secret - he sit's on not one but three cushions to boost his on-screen height, a somewhat bitchy Piers Morgan claimed last night.

Morgan, who sits alongside the Cowell on Britain's Got Talent, said:  “ If you look carefully, Simon grows between shows. When we’re on Britain’s Got Talent he’s smaller then me, then suddenly his three pillows arrive and he’s taller than me!”

Ex-newspaper editor-turned-TV-odd-job-man Morgan revealed the cushion details at an event in Brick Lane last night.

He also simultaneously crystalised the nation's thoughts on both The X-Factor squabble betweern judges Cheryl Cole and Danni Minogue and the utterly unforgivable schoolboy howler by Ashely Cole at Wembley on Saturday saying: “Well, how would you feel if someone came on to the show, half your age with real skin?! Cheryl is perfect in every way, except one – she married an arse of a husband.”

Simon is pretty darn short, but so what. It would look silly if he could barely look over the table he sits at. Let him have his cushions. This is a common practice on television.
