Kate Moss returns to runway for first time in five years

KATE Moss returned to the ­catwalk for the first time in five years with an impromptu strut down the runway last night.

The supermodel was at Bush Hall in Shepherd’s Bush for the The House of Blue Eyes party, which featured a fashion and jewellery catwalk show.

After watching the models walk up the catwalk for a few minutes with boyfriend Jamie Hince, Moss decided she wanted a go as well.

Grabbing a top hat and a whip she strutted down the runway to the delight of the crowd.

It was the first time that Moss, known for being photographed rather than her catwalk work, has hit the runway since September 2003 - and she was in particularly wild form.

After being told off for trying to smoke inside with Beth Ditto, she was spotted ­playfully lashing the Gossip singer with the whip as well as ordering a dancer to dance for her.

But the star turned the most heads when she chose the garden over the loos at the venue. “She was screaming...  where’s the ­toilet?” said a party-goer.

“But when she was told it was at the other side of the building she said she didn’t want to go there. So she went out into the garden behind a bush, while Jamie stood guard.” Classy.
