Josh Hartnett left red-faced by club refusal

One perk of being an A-list star is skipping queues at clubs. But Josh Hartnett was left red-faced after twice being refused entry to a London venue.

The Pearl Harbour actor was trying to get into the swanky Roof Gardens in Kensington. However, door staff turned him away for wearing trainers.

Josh, in town to rehearse for play Rain Man, tried again, but they didn't recognise him.

Rather than pulling the "Do you know who I am?" card like other celebs, Josh went to leave, but one of the women in his party informed the staff of his identity.

"They didn't recognise him at all," an onlooker told theBuzz.

"Josh was really calm about it all. He was going to find another bar until his friend went and pleaded with door staff."
