Jaime Winstone in Big Brother scare

JaimewinstoneA TERRIFIED and bloodied Jamie Winstone sits trapped in the Big Brother diary room as the outside world is over-run by the walking dead.

This is the first scene of Dead Set, a new five-part thriller set in a fictional Big Brother house, to be screened on E4 this autumn.

It stars the Donkey Punch actress as a production runner and features cameo guest appearances from show Davina McCall and several former Big Brother housemates.

The series tells the story of a Britain where the walking dead are attacking the living and the Big Brother house is one of the few remaining safe places in the country.

It is one the highlights of Channel 4’s forthcoming season, unveiled in full today.

Others include The Jacksons Are Coming, a documentary following the members of the famous musical family as they move from LA to the sleepy fishing village of Appledore on the north Devon Coast and a third series of Star Stories featuring Elton John and Kate Moss.

Jamie Oliver returns for his latest national nutrition campaign, Jamie’s Ministry of Food, in which he attempts to recruit one of the fiercest critics of his school-dinners campaign; so-called ‘Burger Mum’ Julie Critchlow.

Meanwhile, Life on Mars actor John Simm will go back further into the past when he stars in The Devil’s Whore, a four-part serial set in the Civil War.
