First pictures of Brangelina babies unveiled

HellobabycoverThe world's most expensive and long-awaited baby pictures were unveiled today.

Hello! magazine paid a £7.5m for the photos of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s twins Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline, making them the most pricey newborn snaps in history.

After a fierce bidding war between the celebrity magazines, Hello! beat OK! to the exclusive rights and brought its publication date forward to capitalise on the coup.

In the interview, which took place at the couple's 17th-century country estate in Provence, France, Jolie said: "It is chaos, but we are managing it and having a wonderful time."

The money from the sale of the pictures will be donated to charity.

She went on to deny rumours that the couple had conceived the twins with the help of IVF treatment, saying: "If they had been conceived by IVF, we would have been happy to discuss it. But we have been fortunate never to have had fertility problems."

Describing the twins, Pitt said: "Viv is proving to resemble Ange in spirit, attitude and physicality. And Knox - he's a bit of me."

The twins have remained hidden from public view since they were born at the Lenval hospital in the south of France on 13 July.

They increase the Jolie-Pitt brood to six. The couple have four older children: Maddox, 7, Pax, 4, Zahara, 3, and two-year-old Shiloh.
