Rhys Ifans is really feeling the pressure of his break-up with Sienna Miller.
Things reached boiling point for the actor last night as he knocked back booze at the Hoping Foundation fundraiser at Ronnie Scott's in Soho.
He then totally flipped as he left the bash when somone dared to quiz him about the actress and hurled his bottle of beer to the pavement.
Police quickly intervened, and escorted him away from the scrum of photographers and fans before giving him a firm telling off.
An onlooker said: "Rhys fumed when someone jokingly asked: ‘How’s Sienna?’"
He said Rhys then lost it and tossed the bottle, shocking bystanders.
"Rhys was taken aside by police who told him to calm down. He looked really upset."![]()
Meanwhile Sienna Miller worked her magic alongside Keira Knightley at the premiere of their new film The Edge of Love...
Speaking at the after party at The Berkeley Hotel the 26-year-old said: "Life is about trial and error, it’s something you have to learn from."
Are you listening, Rhys?
Earlier in the evening Rhys, dumped by Sienna this month, refused to sing at the karaoke fundraiser, preferring to spend the night being consoled by pals including Davinia Taylor, who is letting him kip in her spare room.
"He was hugging people and caught up in conversations," an onlooker said. "He was drowning his sorrows."
Even advances from a brunette model at the end of the night couldn’t cheer poor Rhys up. "She whispered in his ear and putting her hands over him but he wasn’t interested," said our source.
A police spokesman confirmed: "Officers spoke to a man about the incident but no further action was taken."

It's spelled "Keira", not "Kiera". Thanks.
