Wills to propose in Mustique?
Prince William and girlfriend Kate Middleton were due to fly to the private island of Mustique today - sparking speculation that the heir to the throne may be about to propose.
It is the couple’s second romantic holiday on the Caribbean island and insiders have been reported as saying William is keen to take the relationship to another level...
It comes after the Prince asked Kate to stand in for him at Peter Phillips's wedding a fortnight ago.
Royal watchers say this would be the perfect time for the prince to propose.
After their holiday, 25-year-old William will begin a three-month attachment with the Royal Navy, while 26-year-old Kate will soon travel to New York to study photography under tutelage of celebrity photographer and friend of the royals - Mario Testino.
The pair are staying at the £1,785-a-night Villa Alumbrera, one of the island's most opulent and secluded mansions for a week.
The villa is owned by the widow of Swedish mining tycoon Adolf Lundin and is set on a cliff side with wonderful views of outlying islands and sea.
