Keeping a watchful eye on Whitney

TheBuzz is on Whitney Houston Watch, but it seems we aren’t alone.

The troubled superstar, due to land in London today, is under 24-hour watch to make sure she makes her appearance at the Caudwell Children’s Charity gig at the Battersea Evolution tomorrow.

“Her publicists and record label are worried about the effect of a no-show or a poor performance,” a music industry source revealed to theBuzz.

“She has been given a full-time ‘supervisor’ and is being monitored all the way up to, and during, the show.”

The diva, who is getting paid £100,000 for the gig, won’t want to be outdone by performances from Lee Ryan in a rumoured Blue boyband reunion.

Nor will she want to let down a mixed celebrity crowd, with a guestlist that includes Sugababes, Vivienne Westwood, and celebrity couples Vernon Kay and Tess Daly and Peter and Jordan...
