Scary's urban sound
Just when you thought you’d never hear a Spice Girl warble again, Mel B has returned to the recording studio.
The mother-of-two, aka Scary Spice, is working on a new album and pairing up with some of the biggest names in American music.
Mel, 32, has joined forces with top producer Scott Storch, who has worked with the likes of Christina Aguilera, Mariah Carey and Beyoncé.
“Mel is going for a pop sound with a bit of an urban edge,” revealed an insider.
Her last solo album, LA State of Mind, was a certified flop.
But this time Mel also has the help of Rodney Jerkins, the producer who worked with the Spice Girls on Forever.
