Abhishek and Amitabh Bachchan experienced something new in Cannes – being ­ignored. They were clamped to Aishwarya Rai’s side but the paps had eyes only for her, and asked the pair to move over so they could get a proper shot.

Harman’s bill blow
Priyanka Chopra’s aspiring actor boyfriend Harman Baweja, who stars with her in the futuristic Love Story 2050, must have wished for a time machine after his credit card bounced at a posh Mumbai restaurant, as the bill came to thousands of pounds. A source at Bombaybitch.com has revealed: “Harman didn’t realise ordering the best wines would be so expensive. The bill was debited from Priyanka’s ­account and they left the place immediately.”

Basu’s weighty worry
Bipasha Basu has hit back at all the actresses surviving on carrot sticks to stay thin: “I’m concerned about all this unhealthy weight loss in our entertainment industry. For God’s sake, don’t starve to stay in shape. It gives you a prematurely aged look.”
