Croaky Amy entertains 90,000
Troubled singer Amy Winehouse last night played her first live date since leaving rehab.
She entertained 90,000 fans at the Rock in Rio concert in Portugal and by all accounts received a warm welcome.
Despite arriving on stage an hour late and apologising for a sore throat she played a full set, while apologising to the crowd for sounding croaky.
She said: "I should have cancelled but wanted to be here so much."
A spokesman said she was 'overwhelmed' by the crowd's support.
Let's just hope that was all she was overwhelmed by.
