From Roman, with love...
Roman Abramovich doesn’t do things on the cheap, and it seems his daughter Anna is following in his footsteps, if her 16th birthday party is anything to go by.
The daughter of Chelsea billionaire boss Roman threw a £500,000 party at Paper nightclub this weekend.
theBuzz can reveal it featured live performances from Klaxons, costing £185,000, Brazilian band CSS, which cost £85,000, as well as £70,000 on non-alcoholic cocktails such as mojitos, banana daiquiris and Bellinis, £10,000 on cakes and sweets, £20,000 on a dressing-up area with hats and guitars, and a wind machine.
Guests were given a goody bag containing iPods and jewellery, while the invites came on Poppy Rocks bracelets.
A specially installed flashing dancefloor cost £15,000 alone, as well as special UV lighting set up behind the live bands.
And to hire the entire Regent Street club on a packed Saturday night cost £120,000 alone. They even had a special coat of arms designed for Anna, in a distinctly Russian style.
Alexa Chung was on the decks at the event arranged by Quintessentially, and Alexa’s boyfriend Alex Turner and Pixie Geldof turned up, too.
My spy told me: “It was the most amazing party, and all the girls were shrieking with excitement at the club, and posing in these designer sunglasses that were being given out.”
