Tour News: Joan Armatrading

Joan Armatrading has confirmed she will play a rare one-off gig at London's indigO2 on Friday 27th June 2008.

The three times Grammy nominated (most recently for her latest album "Into The Blues") veteran singer is still the first and only female UK artist to debut at No1 on the Billboard blues chart (as well as being the first black UK artist to do so).

She has about one zillion gold, platinum and silver discs to her name and she has been nominated for Brit Awards plus she was awarded the highly coveted Ivor Novello. AND Joan is one of the few female artists ever to receive an MBE.

Phew. All this and she still finds time to tour. Hats off!
