Island romance for Macca

After finally resolving his nightmare divorce from Heather Mills, Sir Paul ­McCartney has moved on by whisking former flame Nancy Shevell off on a romantic break to the Caribbean.

theBuzz hears that the ex Beatle is holed up with Nancy on the private resort island of Jumby Bay, Antigua.

And ­locals suggest that the pair have been living it up like young lovers.

“They hired bikes and rode all around the island,” an ­island source tells theBuzz. “They were laughing and looked like they were having a great time.”

The pair were pictured ­together in November last year, when Paul, 65, took Nancy, 47, on romantic walks along a beach in The Hamptons, near New York.

They were spotted sharing a cheeky kiss in a car. Paul’s interest then seemed to move on to another American, actress Rosanna Arquette.

Things appear to be back on track with Nancy, though, as the couple were seen in The Hamptons again last month.

Nancy, vice president of her family’s trucking business, is a Republican and well-known New York socialite.

But while Paul seems keen to put his divorce behind him, his ex has other ideas.

Mills , who famously lost a leg in an accident, has posted a video on her website of  Paul making a speech praising her work with amputees.

Macca, meanwhile, has removed all references to Heather from his website.
