Goldie Hawn is a massive flirt
Goldie Hawn loves it when other women chase after her man and thinks flirting and tension is vital to a healthy relationship, she revealed today.
The star spoke about the importance of sex and told how she keeps the spark alive in the bedroom with her partner of 25 years, actor Kurt Russell. She said: “If sex goes out of your relationship you either have to be friends or break up. Sex is really important.”
The academy award winning actress and director said she always makes an effort for Grindhouse star Russell, 56, but still has no intention of getting married to him. The 62-year-old told chatshow host Jonathan Ross: “I dress up before I go to bed. I feel nice and Kurt likes it. I don outfits for him, it’s fun.
“I like the fact I’m not married. I wake up fresh every day. I could walk out at any moment but we choose to be together.”
And she said competition from other women made her long-term partner even more appealing. She said: “Flirting is healthy, tension is good. I want a girl to want him. I like it. It’s up to Kurt how he handles it - we argue but it shows I still care.”
The Private Benjamin star also criticised Hollywood’s “awful” obsession with looking good. She said: “It’s scary, it’s awful. Vanity is a big problem. It’s a pressure that children have. “A healthy amount of vanity is good, but this sense of wanting more than you have is bad.”
But despite her concerns it would appear her daughter Kate Hudson, 28, is feeling perfectly happy with her appearance after showing off her curves in a skimpy thong-style bikini this week. The Almost Famous actress was in Florida for a festival screening of her directorial debut, Cutlass when she hit the headlines for her peachy derriere.
