Gibson gives Britney a good talking-to

Brit-Brit and Mel Gibson.

Now there's a combination.

What on earth could these two celebrities have in common?

As it turns out...a lot. The two were spotted out at the same Russian restaurant Romanov in Hollywood, where, apparently, Mel was giving the mess formerly known as Britney, a few tips on how to avoid the crazy.

Gibson, if you'll recall, was arrested for driving under the influence in 2006, as well as spewing forth an anti-sematic tirade - which he publicly apologised for. Talk about public meltdown.

I hope he had lots of good solid advice for her.
