Kelly, Kate - Punked.

Kellydrunk

If there was an NME Award for partying, Kelly Osbourne would have picked it up last night after she went on an impressive 12-hour bender.

The TV presenter stumbled out of Punk nightclub in the early hours trying to stop herself being sick before slumping in a waiting cab.

And who was she out with? Bezzie mate, Kate Moss...

Keep reading on to find out how Kel got from sleek to silly (left)

Robyn: Tiny pop-ette packs a punch

Robyn Robyn at Koko

4 stars

Swedish hip-hop/drum n bass/pop singer Robyn may be small enough to fit in your pocket, but she sure knows how to work packed Koko crowd into a frenzy.

The feisty, sexy and dead-cool pop princess had no troubles keeping the crowd under her spell – even the mere hint of clothing-removal had them howling for more. But it was her voice the crowd was there to experience – and Robyn delivered.

Working her way through Crash and Burn, new single Who’s that Girl, Konichi-wa-Bitches, Can’t Handle, and Be Mine, Robyn – complete with microphone-camera, seemed to be having a ball, all the while shaking her stuff around the stage.

A double encore treated the crowd to an acoustic sing-along of Be Mine and Heartbeat.

Extremely talented, energetic, gorgeous and a little bit naughty: this is what pop should sound like.

A source told US Weekly magazine: “Nicole’s definitely interested and is weighting it up.”

Even billboards need to be fed

1heinz_1_jpg Mmm...soup. Seriously, who doesn't like soup? I could probably live on it for weeks, if not months, as long as I had a cookie to go alongside it.

This would freak me out if I had to go past it in the mornings though: this mahussive steaming billboard is on the North Circular and switched to smoke during peak commuter times, presumably so people go "Hmm, actually sod porridge, I want a bowl of Heinz instead."

Can you imagine being confronted by that with no prior warning when you're barely conscious? It reminds me of the old Harry Potter dragon billboard they used to have in Vauxhall which was all mirrored and seemed to fly - freaky. That said I'm now CRAVING a bowl of soup so it's clearly doing its job properly.

Arctic who now? Arctic Monkeys ignored

1arctics Arctic Monkeys may have been crowned the stars of the night at the NME Awards but that did not mean they were getting any special treatment.

After the ceremony the Sheffield lads headed to the backstage bar to celebrate their latest batch of gongs only to face a grilling from staff at London’s O2 Arena .

Maybe they failed to recognise a baffled Alex Turner who was kept waiting as his bandmates were quizzed by the doorman.

The Rascals frontman, Miles Kane, who recently recorded an album with Turner, told thelondonpaper: “It was ridiculous. We came up here to celebrate with the Monkeys but we had to argue with the doorman to get in. They said we had the wrong passes.”

But the snub failed to dampen spirits after the indie rock band picked up a trio of prizes including best track for, Fluorescent Adolescent best video for Teddy Picker and the big one - best British band.

Keeley Hawes wants more 'lesbian drama' on-screen

080229_keeleyhawes150 Ashes to Ashes star Keeley Hawes has revealed she is keen to play another gay role, six years after her success with Tipping the Velvet.

The 31-year-old actress, who once said in an interview that she is bisexual, told chatshow host Jonathan Ross: “I love a lesbian drama. Sex with women is very different, you don’t have to worry about stubble rash, it’s softer, a different smell.”

But despite her claims, she said she prefers working with men and hailed co-star Philip Glenister’s hardman cop character, DCI Gene Hunt, a sex symbol.

She said: “He’s a sexy guy, I really like men of that period.”

Live last night: The Hold Steady at Koko

The Hold Steady
Koko

****

The Hold Steady have been called the best bar band in the world, but last night's electrifying Koko show suggested they could do the business everywhere from converted theatres to football stadia.

Their rollicking, wordy, piano-driven songs – populated by vivid characters trying to make sense of the world by getting high – recalled Springsteen in his mid-'70s prime. But these seasoned Minneapolis rockers had a zesty, literate charm all of their own.

An enraptured crowd chugged beer enthusiastically to 'Chips Ahoy', 'Party Pit' and fiery new song 'Stay Positive'.

The rock theatrics were left to guitarist Tad Kubler while nerdy frontman Craig Finn pinballed excitably around the stage, clearly just glad to be spreading the love. If Bruce Springsteen falls ill before his big Emirates Stadium shows, they should put The Hold Steady on standby.
