A windy night in LA

David Cameron, the NME of coolness

Will someone please tell David Cameron (left) that politicians and “cool” simply don’t mix? theBuzz can reveal the Tory leader is to appear as a guest on Nick Grimshaw’s NME Awards programme for T4, which starts filming today. David_2

David will be interviewed along with Nick’s pals, including Kelly Osbourne, model Agyness Deyn, Kaiser Chiefs, Dizzee Rascal and Peaches Geldof about the NME nominations. Clearly he didn’t see Tony Blair’s awful performance on T4 a few years back and has forgotten now Shadow Foreign Secretary WilliamNick Hague’s bid to be cool at Notting Hill Carnival where he wore a back-to-front baseball cap.

“It’s going to be relaxed and unscripted in different settings,” Nick said. “It’s going to be hilarious. David Cameron – imagine me with him!

“Kelly and I were going to dress up like Mission Impossible and film in Camden, but now we’re riding horses in the park and Kelly wants to wear a ballgown. Agy and I are going to a butcher and Peaches and I are doing karaoke together.”

A spokesman for the MP told theBuzz: “It’s definitely something David is interested in, although no dates have been set as yet.” Cameron, who lives in Notting Hill, has admitted to being a fan of The Killers, Snow Patrol and Radiohead. The format for his guest slot is unknown. theBuzz reckons David and Nick could hug hoodies together...

Coxon cool on Blur reunion

Blur's former guitarist Graham Coxon has poured cold water on hopes of a reunion anytime soon.
Graham told Xfm: “It’s kind of naive to expect a group to get back together after years of not really communicating well and under that amount of pressure. But steps have been made so we can talk about it.”
Graham admitted meeting up with band members – Damon Albarn, Alex James and Dave Rowntree – recently but the time was spent making “small talk”.

Wags’ killer glare

Denielle Embassy was the venue for the biggest staring competition of last night. Danielle Lloyd (left) and Charlotte Mears  –Jermain Defoe’s (right) current girlfriend andCharlotte ex respectively – both showed up to the Club4Climate event at the Mayfair haunt. But their friends kept them apart. “Danielle was showing off a flashy ring,” an onlooker tells theBuzz. “They kept giving each other looks that could kill.” Among the other celebs at the event was pop singer Michelle Heaton.

Thriller... on the tube

Nevermind those enterprising Philippino prisoners! The brains behind promoting Michael Jackson's 25th anniversary re-release of Thriller have put together this little viral to raise the record's profile.

I still prefer the original. See it after the cut.

Hayden Panettiere... looking good... looking kinda 35

Hayden
Here is the lovely Hayden Panettiere from Heroes at last night's Old Navy re-launch in NYC. She looks good right?

I cannot believe she's 18-years-old.

Lind She looks at least 35! Creepy. See her full sexy secretary outfit after the jump.

But then I guess when you take a look at 21-year-old Lindsay Lo, she looks positively youthful!

Stephen Fry blogs!

Fry And shows us the inside of his body! The lovely Mr Fry has been on the blog and has decided to share some X-rays of his busted up bones and the pins holding him together.

He writes:Screws_side
"Dear All, forgive long period of silence. I’m sorry that all I have posted recently have been Guardian columns. They will stop for three months or so I fear as I finish documentary filming with one arm for much of the time. For the grisly amongst you here is a picture of the break (a spiral fracture of the right humerus for those who know about these things) and one of the operation which secured a plate and ten screws along the bone. Quite a smash as you can see and it has taken me some time to recover both tBreakissues and spirits.

Over the next month or so I continue the American documentary, filming my way up from New Orleans to the Great Lakes for Leg 3 which begins on the 3rd February.

I will be posting new blogs, both in audio podcast form and in traditional text blessay mode.

Meanwhile thank you for the tremendous quality and spirit of your own postings and comments, for pointing out my manifold omissions and ignorances, for contributing gracefully and knowledgeably to the various debates and for overlooking my own spasmodic presence.

J-Lo and Marc name twins?

Jlo
Jennifer Lopez is probably popping out babies as we speak and it's more than likely that the boy and girl will be called  Max and Emme. Star magazine is reporting that J's ma Guadalupe was overheard getting these names engraved on matching baby ID bracelets. Blinging it up from birth.

Xtina At least they're not called them anything as lengthy as Harlow Winter Kate Madden. And speaking of whichNicole Nicole Richie and Joel Madden only managed to flog their baby's first pictures for $1million to People Magazine. ONE MILLION! That kid is in the money already.

But it seems the bidding for snaps of Christina Aguilera and Jordan Bratman's baby boy are already up to $1.5 million. I guess Max Liron Bratman just gives better face. And he's not even a month out of the womb!
