Red alert! There was a virile man battle in LA this weekend gone! Fabio Lanzoni - most often known as 
merely Fabio - had words with bachelor number 1 George Clooney.
According to tmz.com the Italian stallion was at restaurant Madeo with a gaggle of ladies who had won dinner with the 47-year-old star.
Unsurprisingly they were snapping pics of the hunk - who spent most of the 80s and 90s on the covers of bodice rippers throughout the Western world.
Ol' Clooney was also in said restaurant and thought the ladies were taking pics of him. AS IF! Why would you when you had Fabio in front of you!
Come on, this is the man who not only starred in the I Can't Believe It's Not Butter ads [left], but also brought out a CD in 1993 called Fabio After Dark. A record which features the model talking about romance and love over the cheesy strains of lounge muzak. Brilliant!
Anyhoo, Clooney actually flipped on of the girls the bird, which can be seen in this shot HERE.
Apparently Fabio came to the defence of the ladies when Clooney got shirty. What a guy!
