Sharon Osbourne forked out £23,000 for her daughter Kelly’s 23rd birthday party at Maya in Soho on Saturday night.
The star-studded crowd of Kelly, Sharon and Jack Osbourne, Kimberly Stewart, Agyness Dean, Mark Ronson, Jodie Harsh, Alex Greenwald and others took over the whole VIP area of Maya, downing bottles of Moët and Belevedere vodka in celebrations for the birthday girl.
Kelly, who wore a tiara for the night and a necklace bearing the words “Smelly Kelly”, blew out the candles on a giant pink birthday cake as part of the celebrations.
True to form, Sharon carried off the embarrassing mum routine well and was apparently the life and soul of the party, making a proper fuss by ordering magnums of champagne with sparklers.
She was clearly excitable about her daughter’s birthday celebrations by jumping on to tables.
“Kelly’s life has been so busy recently and she’s been so exhausted that Sharon wanted to throw her a huge party to spoil her for her birthday,” a source revealed.
“When they brought the cake out, Sharon jumped on the table and danced along to the Happy Birthday to You! song.”
We reckon it's pretty reassuring to see that celebrity parents are jusy as cringeworthy as normal ones.
